Our Programs
BE Computer
Bachelor of Computer Engineering (BE-Computer) integrates the computer science, hardware engineering and their embedding, is a four year eight semester undergraduate program. This combined degree will develop the knowledge and skills required to design, develop and implement both the hardware and software components of computer systems in today’s technological world. It is a strong program that fosters students to build their professional career both in software and hardware programming, the most demanding fields of this time. Throughout their four year study at EEC students can develop and expand their skills through a combination of theoretical knowledge and practical experience to be successful in whichever path they choose. This degree will focus on Computer Systems Engineering and Applied Computer Science studies.
Career Prospects
Booming IT sector in Nepal has created plenty of jobs for Computer engineering graduates. Computer engineers have lots of options to work in IT companies in departments such as designing, development, assembling, manufacturing, maintenance etc. Working as a programmer, web developer and E-commerce specialist with telecommunications companies, automotive companies, and aerospace companies etc are considered as lucrative career options as well. Computer engineers can also get jobs in non-IT companies like universities, research projects, private and public industries, government departments, business organizations, commercial organizations and the manufacturing sectors. IT sector can truly be considered a global career in terms of its wide scope for professions.
