Program Overview

Computer Engineering is the field of technology that has changed the direction of development in world. The master of engineering in the field of computer engineering is the degree that supports the computer engineering graduates to excel further in the field of computer engineering. The course allows the student to explore their academic aptitude and research excellence to develop as capable human resource in the competing world.  

In the course besides the compulsory courses there are five electives to be chosen by the students. The elective courses are designed to enhance the knowledge and skill set of students to compete nationally and internationally. Nepal is stepping into the era where IT human resources will prove crucial for the growth and development of nation. The elective courses will help to gain required knowledge and skills to support the IT development in Nepal as E-Government experts. The course aims to develop students that can work as system developer, system analyst, IT consultant, business analysist and cyber security experts.

Everest Engineering College (EEC) is also focused to develop the wholesome personality of the student during their study. The college aims to equip students with research skills during the semester breaks so they can fulfill their academic requirements in time as well as improve their personal knowledge and skill. The college also plans to provide personal development sessions during the session breaks to enhance the self-management, communication and relationships and leadership skills of the students. The college will also create avenues for the students to connect the students with the private and public sector for generating new ideas and professional engagements. The students will also be involved in the innovation lab where they can grow their own ideas and do researches that will help them to grow academically and professionally. The college is partnering with international academic institutions to create exposure and avenues for students for their growth and development. 

Academic Session

Everest Engineering College, affiliated with Pokhara University, adheres to the academic calendar prescribed by the university. The college accepts new admissions during two intakes annually:
