Everest Engineering College proudly congratulates Er. Newton Shahi Thakuri, an esteemed alumnus, on officially signing the research contract under the World Trade Organization (WTO) Chairs Programme – Nepal, hosted by Kathmandu University School of Management.
He will serve as the Research Lead for the project titled "An NLP-Based Framework for WTO JSI-Compliant Paperless Trade for Nepal's MSMEs". The project aims to bridge the gap between international trade standards and Nepalese businesses through Artificial Intelligence and Natural Language Processing (NLP).
The research has been awarded a grant of NPR 150,000 and is expected to contribute significantly towards digital trade facilitation and policy innovation in Nepal.
