Kathmandu, June 20, 2026 (2083-03-06) – Everest Engineering College (EEC) organized a meaningful interaction program between college officials and alumni executive members with the objective of strengthening collaboration and revitalizing the EEC Alumni network. The meeting served as a platform to discuss future plans, enhance communication and create opportunities for alumni engagement in the academic and professional development of the institution.
The interaction emphasized the importance of maintaining strong relationships with graduates and leveraging their experience and expertise for the benefit of current students and the college community. Both the college management and alumni members shared ideas and outlined several initiatives aimed at creating a more active and impactful alumni network.
Strengthening Alumni Engagement
To improve coordination and communication, the college plans to update and maintain a comprehensive alumni database, including contact details of graduates from all batches. Batch coordinators will be nominated beginning from the 2001 A.D. intake to facilitate regular updates and strengthen connections among alumni members.
EEC also intends to keep alumni informed about college activities and programs through regular communication. Alumni will receive special privileges, including discounts on training programs and events organized by the college. Furthermore, alumni whose research papers are accepted at national or international conferences with "Everest Engineering College" listed as their affiliation will be eligible for financial support towards registration fees.
Enhancing Academic and Professional Collaboration
Recognizing the valuable industry experience of its graduates, the college plans to regularly invite alumni to deliver guest lectures, participate in seminars and interact with students, faculty members and management. Their insights will help improve teaching methodologies, identify industry-relevant skills, and enhance job placement opportunities for fresh graduates.
Alumni participation will also be encouraged in various college events, including Aarohan, seminars, annual celebrations, welcome and farewell programs, and promotional activities. Alumni contributions through testimonial videos and social media outreach are expected to further strengthen the college's visibility and engagement with prospective students.
In support of alumni-led initiatives, the college will provide access to its seminar hall free of charge whenever available for programs related to education, professional development, and industry interaction.
