Participation in Techfest 2022, IIT Bombay
We are delighted to share that our team from the college participated in one of the biggest science and technology festivals of Asia, also known as Techfest, organized by Indian Institute of Technology Bombay(IIT Bombay) from December 16th to 18th. With numerous competitions, exhibitions and different workshops running in a 3 day event, Techfest is visited by students and tech enthusiasts from different nations.
A huge gratitude to our college, who made it possible for us to visit and experience one of the biggest tech festivals for tech students. A big thanks to every staff member from our college, who helped us in every way possible. Shout out to Advanced Robotics Club for the selection event and the Techfest organizers who made us feel like home in Mumbai. Not forgetting every student from the college who motivated us for the journey.
Our performance in the event we participated in wasn't the best of all but it was applaudable, as said by the organizing team. Worth pointing out the differences of tech between the two countries. With over 200 teams participating in that particular event from 3 different countries, 5 different zones and entries through wildcards, we still were able to give our best and ended as one of the best performers in the competition.
It wasn't just the stay in IIT Bombay that was exciting, but the experience of travelling through different states in India was full of thrill. The 16 hours bus drive from Kathmandu to Patna, the 28 hours train ride from Patna to Mumbai should've made us exhausted but the reality was totally opposite. Upon reaching Mumbai, we were filled with the same energy and enthusiasm that we had when we started the journey.
With the club functioning well, we would hope to see more participation, Be it us or any other students from our college, in different national and international technology events. It will not only help you get a thrilling experience, but also enhance your thinking and knowledge in different fields of technology.
By thanking all the helping hands, the team signs off.
